KERMANSHAH RUGS
Usually all-wool Persian-made rugs. The fairly long, close pile is tied in Sebna knot. The design usually consists of floral patterns, often small palm leaves in rows with a central medallion elaborately coloured. Borders are stripes, also floral. The warp is cotton and there are two binding picks between each row of tufts. Colours are light shades of blue, pink, green and ivory.
